Andrea Electronics Corporation Announces New Patent Issued For Active Noise Reduction Technologies

Patent Strengthens Existing Active Noise Reduction (ANR-Ready®) Portfolio

Melville, NY, August 28, 2000 – Andrea Electronics Corporation (AMEX: AND), a leading developer of hardware and software technologies that optimize the performance of speech-enabled applications and other voice user interfaces, announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued the Company a patent (U.S. Patent No. 6,061,456) directed to Andrea Electronics’ Active Noise Reduction (ANR-Ready®) technology.
