N.Y., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrea Electronics Corporation (Amex:
AND) announced today a reorganization of its Sales and Marketing
team, mobilizing an effort to advance the Company's acoustic and
digital audio interface market strategy. As part of the reorganization,
Andrea Electronics has appointed Dominick Monaco as Senior Vice
President/Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, and has redesigned
its sales force infrastructure through the immediate addition of
seven seasoned sales representatives, each with an average of ten
or more years of experience. These individuals will each be located
throughout the world and will be primarily responsible for specific
local geographic locations. In addition, the Company has made several
additions to its domestic, in-house call center facility with the
goal of expanding its base of direct purchase end users in the U.S.
and Canada.

As Senior Vice President/Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing,
Dominick Monaco will be responsible for directing and managing sales,
marketing, customer service and technical support for Andrea Electronics
in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Monaco will work to position the Company
for focused growth in key targeted markets, and advance the strategic
development of branded sales and marketing concepts. He is a seasoned
sales professional with over seventeen years of experience, handling
accounts for Fortune 100 customers as well as managing sales forces
in the computer hardware and software industries. Prior to joining
Andrea Electronics, Mr. Monaco held the positions of Technology
Sales Consultant and Manager of New Business Development with Arthur
Andersen LLP.
Alex Leung, formerly Managing Director of Andrea Electronics' Hong
Kong facility and bringing more than fifteen years of sales, DSP
engineering and operations experience, will assume the position
of Senior Vice President of Sales - Pacific Rim. In his new role,
Mr. Leung will be responsible for accelerating business development
activities in the Pacific Rim, as well as managing Andrea Electronics'
existing customer base in the region. In his previous position at
the Company, Mr. Leung was instrumental in establishing and maintaining
key customer accounts such as IBM and RadioShack, among others.
John Lettieri has joined the Company at its New York headquarters
as Vice President of Sales, bringing over ten years of sales experience.
In his role, he will focus on specific key customer relationships
as well as automotive telematics business development. Formerly
a National Account Sales Manager and Technical Sales Consultant,
Mr. Lettieri has an impressive background in establishing and maintaining
customer relationships with Fortune 100 companies, as well as the
hiring and training of high level sales personnel. He also brings
several years of experience from his role as Senior Sales Executive
at TSR, Inc., where he developed promotional and marketing campaigns
and managed the Company's U.S. and foreign-based clientele.
With over thirteen years of sales experience, Julia Smith is joining
Andrea Electronics as a regional sales representative. Most recently
Senior Manager, IP Product Implementation at Qwest Communications,
Ms. Smith has extensive experience in the information technology
field and in managing sales operations, customer care, network engineering
and network operations teams.
Richard Campbell, formerly National Sales Manager and Assistant
Vice President of Sales at TeamCo International, is joining Andrea
Electronics as a regional sales representative. Prior to TeamCo,
Mr. Campbell held the positions of Manufacturers Representative
for Professional Sports, Inc., Marketing Representative for Rivolta
Development Corporation, Financial Consultant for Integrated Resources,
Inc. and Account Executive with Government Securities Corporation.
He brings over fourteen years of sales and marketing experience
to his new role at Andrea Electronics.
With over thirteen years in the sales field, Eric Tateosian also
joins Andrea Electronics as a regional sales representative. Previously,
Eric was Technical Consultant, Senior Manager and Senior Customer
Support Supervisor with Arthur Andersen LLP where, among other responsibilities,
he managed a team of managers and technical support representatives.
As manager, Mr. Tateosian provided post-sales support to over thirty
critical clients, managed client support centers and oversaw the
activities of fifty technical and product support representatives.
Noreen Williams brings over twenty years of sales management experience
to her role as Manager of Call Center Sales at Andrea Electronics.
She is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new business
as well as managing all sales and operations for the Company's in-house
call center. Prior to joining Andrea Electronics, Ms. Williams held
sales and management positions at Proginet Corporation, Safeguard
Business Systems and Computer Language Research.
Robert Carton has joined Andrea Electronics as a sales representative
for the Company's Aircraft Communication Systems business unit.
He brings over sixteen years of business experience in sales, management
and marketing. Mr. Carton has held sales positions at Vernitron
Corporation, Microturbo North America and Wieble Tool Co., Inc.
