Melville, NY, March 13, 2002 -- Andrea Electronics Corporation (AMEX:
AND) today announced the introduction of two new headsets specifically
designed for the call center market-space. Andrea Electronics' CS-900
monaural and CS-950 binaural headsets are the result of a year long
marketing effort which included collaboration with several call
centers, call center peripheral providers and call center consultants.
The CS-900 and CS-950 have the most requested headset product features,
are backed by a competitive warranty, and are offered for sale at
price points of up to 50% less than competitors' substantially equivalent
products. Both new product offerings will be available for sale
through the Company's website by the end of March and shortly thereafter
through a network of call center consultants.
``Andrea Electronics
has successfully developed a comfortable, high quality, rugged call
center headset at a price point that should redefine the value proposition
for most call center buyers,'' said Jason Clawson, Executive Director
of the American Teleservices Association. ``Andrea identified a
need in the call center market, embarked on a detailed process to
understand call center buyer requirements, and now has a compelling
call center product offering.''
``The introduction
of our new call center product line is a natural extension of our
proven core competency to design and manufacture high quality headsets
at extremely competitive price points,'' said Christopher P. Sauvigne,
President and Chief Executive Officer of Andrea Electronics Corporation.
``We are extremely excited about the market acceptance to date regarding
these products and we look forward to expanding this product line
in the near future.''
