The digital microphone array used for this platform is a self-contained DSP microphone system that incorporates Andrea's Digital Super Directional Array (DSDA®) 2.0 and PureAudio® 2.0 software algorithms. Andrea's DSDA 2.0 and PureAudio 2.0 significantly reduce automotive inherent noises such as tire, engine and wind noise, as well as other passenger voices. The microphone array will be embedded into the headliner of the vehicle beginning with the 2003 platform.
