AND - News) announced today the appointment of Joseph J. Migliozzi
to its board of directors, effective immediately. Mr. Migliozzi,
who qualifies as an independent director under SEC and AMEX
rules and as a financial expert under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
of 2002, will also serve as chairman of the company's Audit
Committee.
Joseph J. Migliozzi joins the Andrea Electronics board, bringing
over 30 years experience in corporate and financial management
capacities. Currently operating his own management-consulting
firm, Mr. Migliozzi was previously the Chief Operating and
Financial Officer as well as a Director of Voyetra Turtle
Beach, a supplier of high fidelity sound cards and audio software
to the PC retail and OEM channels. Prior to that, he served
in senior executive positions at LeCroy Corporation as well
as with other electronics manufacturers. Mr. Migliozzi holds
Bachelor and Master of Business Administration degrees from
Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
